18th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering (ECEE 2026)

The 18th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering (ECEE 2026) will take place in Berlin from 14–18 September 2026, bringing together researchers, engineers and practitioners from around the world. The conference will provide an important forum for sharing cutting-edge research, innovative technologies and practical solutions aimed at improving the seismic safety and resilience of our communities and infrastructure.

Οι πλέον προηγμένες τεχνολογίες σεισμικής θωράκισης παρουσιάζονται την Παρασκευή 22 Μαΐου, στο Ίδρυμα Ευγενίδου, Αθήνα. Η επιστημονική ημερίδα “Innovative Systems for Seismic Isolation and Energy Dissipation”, διοργανώνεται από τη Διεθνή Εταιρεία Αντισεισμικών Συστημάτων (ASSISi) σε συνεργασία με το Ελληνικό Τμήμα Αντισεισμικής Μηχανικής (ΕΤΑΜ). Build-X 2.0 freeware for Structural Analysis using OpenSees (nonlinear analysis)

Build-X 2.0 freeware for Structural Analysis using OpenSees (nonlinear analysis) Building Wizard 2.0 is a freeware, interactive front-end software for the seismic analysis and assessment of buildings structures, that takes advantage of a sophisticated, Open-Source software for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (OpenSees) to provide through its graphical user’s interface: (a) conceptual assistance during the finite element analysis pre- and post-processing (b) finite element model development automations and (c) expert advice for modeling various building-specific issues that are key for the reliable prediction of structural response (such as shear wall connections, soil-structure interaction etc). Build-X improves the efficiency and credibility of the finite element modeling developed, particularly for the case of complex buildings structures and gives the designer more control in critical modeling decisions affecting the overall system response. Version 2.0 developed by Nicos Psyrras Version 1.0 developed by Dionisios Panagiotopoulos, Nicos Gantsidis and Nicos Lesgidis Academic Advisor: A. Sextos More: http://ift.tt/2sOkeDw
